A power trowel is a machine used in construction for finishing concrete surfaces. A ride-on power trowel is a type of power trowel that is designed to be operated by a person sitting on the machine, making it easier to cover larger areas than with a hand-held power trowel. The Multiquip brand ride-on power trowel is  a type of concrete finishing machine that uses rotating blades to smooth and level concrete surfaces. Ride-on power trowels are typically used on large concrete slabs, such as those found in commercial and industrial buildings, parking lots, and other structures.

MULTIQUIP HHXDF5 (Made in U.S.A.)

31-HP Kubota,Gas-LPG Dual Fuel,8' Non-overlap,twin five blade rotors

The HHX series Dual Fuel Ride-on Trowel delivers all the features contractors demand plus the additional option of running on LPG (with proper ventilation) or gasoline. The Kubota WG972 engine delivers the power, duribilty and performance required for today's ever changing customer needs.

Drive System

  • Powerful 31 HP Gasoline-LPG engine from Kubota delivers the high torque needed for panning while having the high rotor speed needed for finishing
  • Engine comes complete with a combination catalytic converter/muffler system standard that meets all EPA requirements. Any modifications to this system will void engine warranty
  • Continuously variable transmission (CVT) provides superior performance by continually adjusting the drive ratio to obtain optimum torque and speed during all phases of finishing from low speed high torque to high speed burnishing
  • Automotive constant velocity joints ensures smooth and consistent
power is being transferred to the gearboxes
  • Helical gearboxes are the industry’s most efficient, coolest
running trouble free design. These gearboxes are also backed with a three year warranty
  • Spider assemblies feature long lasting wear plates and spider hubs and can be economically rebuilt. Standard model comes with 5 blade configuration

Design

  • TwinPitch control enables the operator to simultaneously
control the pitch of both rotors with minimal effort, yet still
    allows for individual pitch control
  • Clam Shell Design simplifies maintenance and offers the convenient access to all the serviceable components
  • Lifting points are built in to the machine for balanced lifting. (Lifting straps included)
  • Large Capacity Gasoline Tank holds up to ten U.S. gallons
  • LPG tanks sold separately (Capacity 33.5#)

 Operator Controls

  • LED lighting provides state of the art illumination for night time or indoor work
  • 12 Volt Outlet for charging your cell phone
  • Proportional hydraulic steering offers improved responsiveness with minimal operator effort
