In-House Demonstration – IMER Koine 4 Continuous Mixing & Pumping Machine
We successfully conducted an intensive in-house equipment demonstration to showcase the advanced automation, high-fluidity pumping, and continuous mixing capabilities of the IMER Koine 4 continuous cycle mixing pump. The trial focused on evaluating mechanical delivery speed, consistency of the mixture, and output quality when handling premium, eco-friendly structural materials.
Technical Highlights & Project Specifications:
Equipment Used: IMER Koine 4 Continuous Mixing & Pumping Machine (High-efficiency continuous cycle rotor-stator system).
Material Tested: Davco Grout 180 ECO (Sika) – A high-strength, cementitious non-shrink grout engineered with a lower carbon footprint, certified by the Singapore Green Building Product (SGBP) body.
Application Scope: Continuous mechanical mixing and pressure-pumping ideal for repairs to precast concrete, under-plate bedding, filling voids, anchor bolt fixing, and structural grouting applications where shrinkage must be eliminated.
Process Breakdown & Performance:
1. High-Efficiency Material Preparation
The IMER Koine 4 features a low loading height and a spacious hopper equipped with a gear-driven feed impeller. During the demo, 25kg bags of Davco Grout 180 ECO dry premix were directly emptied into the hopper. The material was fed into the mixing chamber at a perfectly constant rate, demonstrating a seamless, continuous flow without the dust bottlenecks or material waste typical of traditional batching methods.
2. Automated Continuous Mixing & Stabilization
Once inside the chamber, the machine's automated water system—complete with a built-in flow meter and a powerful self-priming booster pump—precisely injected the pre-set water volume. The horizontal mixing paddle ensured immediate, uniform, and homogeneous slurry preparation. This mechanical precision completely eliminates human error in water-to-powder ratios, ensuring the grout remains entirely free of bleeding and settlement.
3. Reliable Pressure Pumping & Discharge
The thoroughly blended grout was directly transferred into the progressive cavity screw pump (Rotor/Stator) and delivered smoothly under controlled pressure through the material hose. The demo achieved a void-free, highly fluid discharge at the outlet, confirming the machine’s capacity for stable, long-distance delivery required on large-scale construction sites.
Core Demonstration Takeaways:
Multiplied Productivity: Transitioning from single-bucket manual batching to the fully automated, continuous cycle of the Koine 4 drastically shortens site labor time and reduces workforce fatigue.
Uncompromised Structural Integrity: Uniform mechanical mixing preserves the engineered properties of Sika Davco’s grout—ensuring high early and ultimate compressive strengths alongside 0% shrinkage at 28 days are flawlessly realized upon placement.
Green Building Alignment: The setup flawlessly handles sustainable, eco-labeled construction chemicals, empowering projects to effortlessly align with local green building frameworks.
