High-Performance Grouting Solution with IMER Integrated System

This professional project reference is structured for web display, focusing on the synergy between the IMER MIX 120 PLUS and the IMER SMALL 50 during a structural grouting application using Mapefill GP Plus.

Project Overview & Site Challenges

Modern structural strengthening and precast component connections demand extreme precision in grout uniformity and compaction. This project was executed on a multi-tier scaffolding platform, presenting several operational hurdles:

  • Space Constraints: Limited footprint on elevated work platforms where traditional large-scale machinery could not be deployed.

  • Material Requirements: The use of high-performance, non-shrink grout (Mapefill GP Plus) requires intensive forced-action mixing to achieve the necessary flowability and strength.

  • Precision Injection: Ensuring 100% void-free filling in structural cavities to maintain engineering integrity.

Equipment Configuration: The "Golden Duo"

To meet these requirements, we deployed a synchronized IMER system designed for high-mobility and high-output:

  • Mixing Unit: IMER MIX 120 PLUS (Vertical Shaft Mixer)

    • Core Advantage: Features a triple-arm forced mixing system that rapidly blends powder and water into a perfectly homogeneous, lump-free mixture.

    • Mobility: Equipped with integrated wheels and a compact frame, allowing it to be stationed directly on scaffolding or narrow corridors.

  • Pumping Unit: IMER SMALL 50 (Multipurpose Pumping & Spraying Machine)

    • Core Advantage: Provides consistent pumping pressure for long-distance and vertical material delivery.

    • Operational Excellence: Its low-noise electric motor and lightweight build make it the industry standard for indoor and confined space grouting.

Execution Workflow (Site Integration)
  • Material Prep: Grout bags are staged near the mixer to minimize handling time.

  • Forced Mixing: Material is fed into the MIX 120 PLUS. The vertical shaft action reduces mixing time by 50% compared to drum mixers while maximizing the chemical properties of the grout.

  • Continuous Feed: The mixed grout is discharged directly into the SMALL 50 hopper, creating a seamless transition from mixing to pumping.

  • Controlled Grouting: Operators use a specialized delivery hose for "point-to-point" injection. The stable pressure ensures that the grout fills the cavity from the bottom up, effectively displacing air pockets.

Technical Benefits & Value Added
  • Increased Productivity: The integrated "Mix-to-Pump" workflow increases site progress by approximately 30–40% compared to manual pouring.

  • Quality Assurance: Eliminates the risk of structural weakness caused by inconsistent manual mixing. The pumping pressure ensures a high-density fill with zero shrinkage voids.

  • Superior Maneuverability: Both units fit into standard service lifts and can pass through 80cm wide openings, making them ideal for high-rise construction.

  • HSE Compliance: Low noise levels and safety-interlock grates protect operators and minimize disruption in urban or live work environments.
