Removal of vinyl flooring with residual adhesive

Flooring Removal using SIN 550 Scraper

The SIN 550 Flooring Scraper was deployed to efficiently remove glued-down vinyl flooring from a concrete surface. The image above shows the machine in action, peeling off the vinyl layer along with most of the glue in a single pass. A forward push and downward pressure via foot assist helped maintain consistent blade contact and penetration.

The scraper’s compact body, heavy-duty blade, and simple control made it highly effective in confined areas without compromising performance. No visible surface damage was caused, making it ideal for preparation before recoating or re-flooring.

Highlights

  • Efficient separation of vinyl sheet and adhesive

  • Reduced manual labor and fatigue

  • Clean finish with minimal surface damage

  • Easy to transport and operate on site

The SIN 550 Flooring Scraper proved to be a reliable and productive tool for floor renovation and surface preparation. It is especially suitable for:

  • Removal of vinyl, linoleum, or carpet tiles

  • Stripping adhesive, mastic, or glue layers

  • Floor preparation in commercial, residential, and light industrial sites
