Demolition Project-Wire Saw Cutting Work

Reinforced Concrete Beam Cutting by Wire Saw

Reinforced Concrete Beam Cutting by Wire Saw

The concrete beam was cut using a diamond wire saw system mounted horizontally to achieve a precise and vibration-free separation. The cutting setup was fixed on both sides of the beam using heavy-duty anchor frames. The operator controlled the cutting speed and wire tension to ensure smooth cutting progress and avoid overheating.

During the operation, scaffolding support and safety barriers were installed below the work area. Continuous water cooling minimized dust generation and protected the diamond wire. The entire cutting process achieved a clean and controlled finish with minimal impact to surrounding structure.

Machine Used:
  • Wire Saw Machine – High-tension diamond wire system with automatic feeding control

  • Power Source: 3-phase electric motor

  • Cooling Method: Continuous water supply for dust suppression and wire lubrication

Advantages of Wire Saw Method:
  • Enables deep and precise cutting for thick reinforced concrete.

  • Produces low vibration and noise, safe for sensitive environments.

  • Allows horizontal, vertical, or inclined cuts at various angles.

  • High efficiency and suitable for confined workspaces.

Outcome:

The beam segment was successfully cut and separated according to the required dimension, maintaining structural integrity of the surrounding area. The work was completed safely, efficiently, and within the planned schedule.
