Milling Project-On Site Training Concrete Cutter-TC3 Diesel Type
Training Objective
The objective of this on-site training was to ensure all operators and site personnel understand the safe operation, maintenance requirements, and correct usage of the Concrete Cutter TC3 – Diesel. The training focused on hazard awareness, correct cutting procedures, inspection points, and troubleshooting on site.
Training Scope
The session covered the following key components:
Equipment Introduction
Overview of Concrete Cutter TC3 – Diesel
Machine components and functions
Blade type identification & correct application
Pre-Operation Inspection
Participants were trained to check:
Fuel level and engine condition
Blade condition (cracks, wear, tightening)
Cutting depth adjustment
Front and rear wheel stability
Water supply system
Emergency stop function
Safe Operation Procedure
Topics demonstrated on site:
Correct start-up and engine warm-up
Cutting alignment and marking
Posture and handling technique
Maintaining constant cutting speed
Avoiding kickback and sudden movement
Proper shutdown procedure
Safety Precautions
Emphasis was placed on:
Mandatory PPE (helmet, safety boots, gloves, goggles, vest)
Maintaining safe distance from rotating blade
Clear communication between cutter operator and spotter
Dust control and site housekeeping
Handling hot engine surfaces
Troubleshooting & Basic Maintenance
Hands-on demonstration of:
Blade replacement & tightening
Checking belts and drive system
Cleaning filters
Engine troubleshooting (starting difficulty, vibration, unusual sound)
On-Site Demonstration
The trainer demonstrated the actual cutting process using the TC3 machine at the project site. Operators were guided step-by-step on correct handling, depth adjustment, and posture. Trainees then practiced under supervision to ensure competency and proper technique.
Attendance & Competency
All attending personnel actively participated in the demonstration and practical session. Operators demonstrated understanding of:
Safe cutting technique
Proper equipment handling
Risk identification
Basic troubleshooting
A competency check was completed at the end of the session.
Conclusion
