This project involved precision concrete cutting using the TC3-Diesel Floor Saw to facilitate structural modifications and trenching. The TC3-Diesel was selected for its high power-to-weight ratio, making it ideal for heavy-duty outdoor applications where electrical power is unavailable.

Scope of Work

• Site Preparation: Mark-out of cutting lines to ensure dimensional accuracy.

• Concrete Cutting: Executed straight-line floor sawing through reinforced concrete slabs.

• Depth Control: Utilized the TC3’s adjustable hand-wheel system to maintain a consistent cutting depth of up to 155 mm.

• Cooling & Dust Suppression: Constant water feed applied to the diamond blade to minimize dust and prevent overheating during the diesel-powered operation.

• Mobility: The compact 165 KG frame allowed for easy maneuvering across the site.

• Reliability: The diesel engine provided consistent torque, essential for cutting through high-PSI concrete and rebar without stalling.

• Safety: The adjustable blade guard and stable four-wheel chassis ensured operator safety and vibration control throughout the duration of the project.

Project Outcome The concrete cutting was completed ahead of schedule with zero safety incidents. The TC3-Diesel’s performance resulted in clean vertical edges, significantly reducing the need for secondary touch-ups before the subsequent excavation and pouring phases.
