Precision High-Depth Concrete Infrastructure Cutting
Our team was recently commissioned to undertake a complex road infrastructure modification project in a high-traffic urban environment. The scope of work required the removal of heavy-duty concrete sections and existing road curbing to facilitate new drainage and utility installations.
Given the constraints of the site—specifically the proximity to residential areas and the requirement for deep-cut precision—we selected the CIMAR TC5 Electric Concrete Saw as the primary solution. This equipment allowed us to maintain high structural integrity while adhering to strict environmental noise and air quality regulations.
Equipment Deployment & Execution
The CIMAR TC5 provided the necessary torque and reliability to handle the rigorous concrete demolition.
Operational Precision: The machine delivered smooth, vibration-free cuts. The stability of the 880 KG unit ensured that even the most stubborn concrete sections were cut to exact specifications without drifting.
Environmental Control: A key requirement of this project was dust mitigation. By utilizing the TC5’s integrated wet-cutting system, we were able to suppress silica dust effectively, ensuring a cleaner and safer working environment.
Technical Specifications:
Power Type: Electric (3phase)
Output: 15HP/11KW
Machine Weight: 880KG
Blade Size: 350-800MM
Driver Shank Speed: 3000RPM
Max. Cutting Depth: 360MM/14''
Key Project Outcomes:
Efficiency: Achieved clean, deep cuts (up to 360 mm) in a single pass, significantly reducing project timeline duration.
Sustainability: The transition to electric-powered machinery eliminated exhaust emissions at the source, allowing for work during early morning hours with minimal disruption to the local community.
Quality Assurance: The clean-cut finish produced by the TC5 minimized the need for secondary manual trimming, saving labor costs and improving the final aesthetic of the road edge.
